PILGRIMAGE IN HONOR OF ST. PHILIP OF AIDONE

Will be held Friday, April 24 at 17:30, the usual pilgrimage in honor of St. Philip the Apostle, organized by Don Carmelo Cosenza Parish priest from Santa Maria La Cava of Aidone.

From the junction of Bellia, Piazza Armerina along the S.S. 288, for about 8 km, will be renewed march on foot to the shrine of Aidone dedicated to San Filippo.

This year the Committee Noble Quarter Mount of Piazza Armerina, the Office for Ecumenism, Interreligious Dialogue and the Integrity of Creation will take part in the pilgrimage.

Around 17.30 with the blessing of the pilgrims and the singing of Psalms Ascensionali you will begin the journey to the shrine of St. Philip the Apostle; will follow the celebration of Mass and blessing with the relic of St. Philip.
