EXPO 2015 PRESENTATION

The largest and most important event of the year is the EXPO MILANO 2015 which will lead to Milan, over 20 million visitors from around the world, from May 1 to October 31, 2015.

A unique opportunity to explore the theme "FEEDING THE PLANET, ENERGY FOR LIFE", where the relationship man's life is interwoven inextricably to respect nature, to the production of safe and secure and equitable distribution of food.

There will be 144 countries, three international organizations, civil society and the
business world, in an exhibition area of 1.1 million square meters, which will discuss the
issue to find solutions for a sustainable future.

Visitors will have the unique opportunity to sample the gastronomic excellences of each
country, will also be entertained by performing arts, conferences, workshops and
exhibitions.

There are five areas:

Zero the Pavilion where visitors will be catapulted to the origins of the relationship
between man and nature, man-power;

Future Food District where everyone can interact with products and producers and understand that to have a healthy food on the table must each stage of the chain
Food is healthy;

the Children Park, a space specifically for children who can through activities and
challenging situations, understand the close relationship between humans to plants to
animals, to deal with them the theme of life on Earth;

the Biodiversity Park food, 8,000 square meters, with seven large greenhouses and more than two hundred different agricultural species to observe, smell, touch, hear.
The visitor through 12 stories will discover the history of agriculture and the origin of
cultivated plants from continents and from different eras;

l 'Arts & Foods, international exhibition that traces from 1851 to date through original
works of musicians, photographers, architects, designers and not only the development of the vision and the consumption of food.
